The medical world was left breathless: what until recently seemed impossible has happened.
One-year-old conjoined twins, Minal and Mirha, born with joined heads and shared cerebral blood vessels, were successfully separated after a risky operation that lasted nearly 14 hours.
An international team of surgeons fought for the girls’ lives.
😲😲 Two months after the surgery, the girls returned home.

The surgical team, led by Professor Noor Jeelani—a British neurosurgeon already known for his unique procedures—met the challenge.
On July 19, at Bilkent City Hospital in Ankara, doctors took on a task few would have dared.
“They are making extraordinary progress. It’s truly a miracle,” Jeelani said. According to him, two months after the operation, the girls are preparing to return home to Pakistan.
The doctors’ main weapon was Mixed Reality technology, which allows them to combine 3D models with real space.

With it, specialists created an exact digital copy of the girls’ heads and “rehearsed” all the stages of the surgery before even picking up the scalpel.
This approach not only saved the twins’ lives, but also opens up new horizons for global medicine.
“The technologies we apply in such complex cases make the most common operations safer and more effective,” the professor emphasizes.

The story of Minal and Mirha is not just a victory for surgeons. It’s a symbol of hope, proof that even the most incredible obstacles can be overcome.
Now girls can have a normal childhood, and their parents can have the long-awaited peace and happiness.
