This woman set a unique record: she gave birth to nine babies in a single pregnancy – five girls and four boys.
The births were premature, and each child weighed about 500 grams.
But thanks to the doctors’ professional work, all the babies survived. Today, they are already four years old. 😨😢

When Halima found out she was pregnant, she could hardly believe it. First, she had been unable to conceive for a long time, and then the doctors told her she was expecting triplets.
A later ultrasound revealed five babies.
You can only imagine the shock when it turned out she was actually expecting nine children! The doctors and Halima herself were overwhelmed.
Labor began in the 30th week of pregnancy. The newborns weighed between 500 and 1000 grams – they could fit in the palm of your hand.
After their birth, all the babies were transferred to the intensive care unit. Experienced doctors and nurses monitored each child’s condition around the clock.

The babies were fed every two to three hours, and their health and development were closely monitored. Each day, the little ones needed around 100 diapers and six liters of special formula.
Due to their slow weight gain, they spent the first few weeks of their lives in incubators. Despite an uncertain prognosis, all the babies survived.
Today, these boys and girls are no different from their peers – they are strong, healthy, and full of life.

The Cissé family became widely known because, until then, no one had ever given birth to so many children at once, all of whom survived and remained healthy.
It is a remarkable achievement – both by Halima and by the doctors who saved the babies.
The children celebrated their fourth birthday with a big party at a hotel in Bamako.
The guests eagerly awaited the arrival of the birthday children. When the boys and girls entered the room in their festive attire, many had tears in their eyes.
