Just four years ago, Cole Prohaska weighed over 265 kg. His diet consisted of about 5,000 calories a day, and his physical activity was minimal.

He admits to having led a very sedentary life since childhood. From the age of six, he began gaining weight rapidly, and by the time he was forty, his body was a heavy burden, making it difficult not only to live but even to breathe.

In 2021, he stepped on the scale, which registered the maximum reading—over 265 kilograms (500 pounds). He didn’t even know his exact weight because the scale wasn’t designed for such high numbers. It was a wake-up call.

But at a time when many would have given up, Cole decided to change everything. He didn’t start with intense workouts or strict diets—he simply laced up his sneakers and went for a walk.

At first, he could only cover a few blocks, panting and stopping at every corner. But he promised himself he would just keep moving. And he kept his promise.

Each day, he added a little more—a few more steps, an extra minute of walking, a little less food. These simple actions became the foundation of his new life.

Gradually, short walks became full-fledged daily workouts. As a result, by 2023, Cole had lost 163 kilograms (350 pounds).

But even with such impressive results, he hesitated for a long time to share his transformation. He felt that his old self—uncertain, tired, and lonely—still lurked within his new body.

Today, at 41, Cole is fit, athletic, and confident. He is no longer afraid to share his photos, videos, and thoughts on social media.

He inspires thousands of people.
