Who these men were and why it didn’t work out with them — she won’t say. The result is important: she raised all the children herself, without anyone’s help. Today, her eldest daughter is already over 50, and her youngest children are under 10 years old.
When, at 55, she announced that she wanted another child, she was laughed at. “Why do you need this?” — doctors and neighbors asked. But ten years later, she amazed everyone even more — at the age of 65, she gave birth to four at once: three boys and a girl.

Not a single doctor could give her any guarantees. Doctors were seriously concerned about her health and suggested leaving a maximum of two children to reduce the risks.
Pressure, wear and tear on the body, age – all this made multiple pregnancy extremely dangerous. But Annegret did not even hesitate: “If fate sent me four, then I must give life to all of them.”
The children were born prematurely and weighed only a kilogram each.
