This baby was born with an unusual face and when his mother saw him for the first time, she was terrified 😱 Unfortunately, the front of his skull has not yet joined together, so it looks like the baby is wearing a mask 😢
He was still very small when he underwent surgery to try to restore his face 😱 Just look at how this unusual baby looks after plastic surgery 😍😍 His photo was featured in the first comment 👇👇
Мальчику с необычным лицом врачи сделали операцию по восстановлению: вот как он выглядит Ёейчас
In 2009, in a village in China’s Hunan province, Ileon Xie gave birth to her first child, a boy named Hu Kang. Like any mother, she couldn’t wait for the moment when she could see her son again.
But what she saw a few hours after giving birth was forever etched in her memory.
When they brought her baby, his mother was paralyzed with horror. Hu Kang had a rare and serious condition: a bilateral transverse facial deformity.
Malchik with unusually long hair spoke of the case: who will watch him
The front of the skull did not have time to fuse during fetal development, and as a result, the baby’s face was left with two deep lacerations that ran from the corners of his mouth to his ears. This gave him a frightening, almost mask-like appearance.
The family was desperate. Doctors said that treatment was possible, but extremely expensive. In 2010, Ileon decided to seek help.
He told his story to reporters, and the photos of little Hu Kang caused a stir. People from all over China, and later from abroad, started donating money for his treatment.
Let me tell you what I’ve done before восстановлению: сейчас
Thanks to the funds raised, Hu Kang underwent two complex surgeries.
Surgeons attempted to restore the symmetry of her face, and although the initial result was far from ideal, doctors assured that real changes would appear within 10 years.
And they were right.
Let me tell you what I’ve done before восстановлению: сейчас
In photographs taken several years after the operations, Hu Kang is already a smiling schoolboy. The deep cracks disappeared, leaving only barely perceptible traces.
