On November 8, 1935, a boy was born who later became, one might say, the most beautiful representative of the modern male sex.
Alain was born in a suburb of Paris, 80 kilometers from Notre Dame Cathedral. His mother worked as a pharmacist.
When his father opened a cinema, she went to work as a cashier. But when the boy was 3 years old, his parents separated.
Later, both of them started new families. Thus, the future actor had half-brothers and half-sisters.
Alain’s stepfather worked in a butcher’s shop, and his mother went to work there too. The parents did not have much time for Alain, so they found a nanny for him.
So the child lived in two families. As the actor himself later said, at first he liked him, but then it seemed that he was not important to anyone.
He was very poor at school. In addition, he was often involved in hooliganism. He was frequently expelled from school and often changed schools.
But the boy had a passion for music and played the piano. He was awarded several times for his participation in concerts. But soon this passion faded.
Then he began to study to become a butcher. After that he worked for three months in a butcher’s shop, then he moved on to work in a shop.
Later, he served in the army, which, according to the actor’s own stories, had a positive effect on his character. After his military service, he worked as a waiter.
And his various film auditions began.
