The resilience of this young athlete is extraordinary. His inner strength is so great that he has become a real source of inspiration on social networks. The life of former engineer and fitness model Turia Pitt changed in 2011.

He almost died in a fire during a 100-kilometer marathon. Today, he bears the scars of that fire on almost 65% of his body.

Her partner Michael Hoskin accompanied her on her long journey to survival. He gave up his job as a police officer to support her during this difficult time.

When Turia recovered, I was very happy to see her rediscover the joys of life,” she smiles. Today, Turia and Michael are happy parents of a 22-month-old son.
