This boy lost 120 kg and became an athletic young man. Look how handsome he is now!

The boy took the loss of a family member very badly and began to manage his stress by eating. This bad habit almost led to tragedy: his weight reached a critical point and his heart failed, and rescuers were even about to break down the wall of the house to get him out of his room. But this made him reconsider his life.
Andrew Goldblatt was a normal, trouble-free teenager, but everything changed when he turned 15. His father, who was the most important person in the world to him, died suddenly.

The boy couldn’t cope with the blow and found comfort in food. At first, he would go to the refrigerator when he was very sad, but then this craving grew, and Andrew’s whole life became intertwined with food.
“I didn’t want to do anything, I didn’t want to leave my room. I numbed my pain with food… In four years I gained 140 kg. I didn’t live for food, I lived for food. I lived on snacks, on dinners, I couldn’t sleep without eating.”

Andrew resorted to diets and each time he was content with losing a few kilos. When the scale showed he had lost some weight, the boy thought that was enough and took a day off from the diet. Then one day, then another, and everything went back to normal.

But life soon dealt him another blow, after which he finally decided to end his destructive addiction. Andrew had health problems since childhood, which worsened as he gained weight. The boy suffered a stroke.

At that time he weighed 250 kg, and transporting him to the hospital became a real problem. The rescuers even considered knocking down the wall of the house just to get him out. But with the effort of an entire team, we managed to get him down the stairs.

When he recovered, Andrew decided enough was enough. The threat of losing his life brought him back to his senses. The boy promised himself he would do everything possible to make his father proud. He decided to start small, walking around his neighborhood (two kilometers), something he hadn’t been able to do for years. After a series of efforts, he succeeded. The next step was the gym.

“As soon as I walked into the gym near my house, I fell in love with it. I realized that one day I had to go out and change for the better.”
Thanks to daily training, Andrew lost 120 kg in just a few years, and his old friends no longer recognized him.

“You are the only one who can change your life; you can’t count on others to come and do everything for you. If you want to lose weight, start now. Don’t wait like I did.”
