Rachel and Kim Saunders, 34-year-old identical twins from Virginia, have done everything together their whole lives. But what’s happened in recent years has surprised even those closest to them.
It all started in 2017, when the sisters went to the annual Twin Festival in Ohio.
This unusual holiday brings together hundreds of pairs of twins from all over the country, and it was there that Rachel and Kim met their future husbands, cousins Jason and Michael. Within six months, both couples were engaged.

But the synchronicity of fate did not end there. In 2018, the sisters had an unusual wedding: a celebration for four.
A few years later, fate surprised everyone again: Rachel and Kim found out about their pregnancy almost at the same time.
When it was time to give birth, they went to the same hospital. Between contractions, the sisters joked, played cards, and supported each other.

As a result, Rachel gave birth to a boy, and just two hours later, Kim’s son was born.
Now their sons, like their mothers, spend all their free time together, playing, fighting over toys and laughing in unison.
“They seem to have their own special bond, like Kim and I,” says Rachel.
